We are excited to be working with a new artist, Mark!
It was a pleasure to spend some time with Mark’s portfolio. The words “thoughtfulness” and “generosity” don’t usually come to mind when thinking about art. When it comes to Mark’s work though, it’s full of interesting angles, lighting, texture, and beautiful line work. The image to the right stood out as a perfect example. The cat’s texture speaks for itself, but the lighting and temperature shift is really what impressed me. By exaggerating saturation level, you can see how the color of this seemingly “gray” cat is actually shifting masterfully from warm to cool. His choice of light placement and the subtle gradations of color make this image look great as well as convey attitude.
